Dr. Theresa A. Schmidt, PT, DPT, MS, OCS, LMT, CEAS, DD

Dr. Schmidt is a Board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, massage therapist, personal trainer, certified ergonomic assessment specialist, expert witness, and hypnotherapist. Dr. Schmidt is the owner of Educise PC continuing education and Physical Therapy in NY and NH. She is Board-certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 1994. Dr. Schmidt graduated Long Island University’s Physical Therapy MS Program with Highest Honors. She served as Acting Chair of the PTA Program and faculty of the Masters Program at Touro College Physical Therapy Programs in New York, NY. She taught at Nassau Community College and CUNY Queens College.  Her focus is functional manual therapy and precision exercise, including Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy, PNF, Strain/Counterstrain, Positional Release, Joint Mobilization, Visceral Manipulation, Functional Technique, Neuromuscular Re-education, Integrative Immune Strengthening Therapy, acupressure, alternative medicine, IET, Reiki, shamanic health and therapeutic touch. She presented internationally for Fascia Research Congress, NASA Inomedic, APTA, AOTA, AMTA, IDEA, ACE, PESI Education, MotivationsCEU, HomeCEUconnection, Allied Health Education, Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and private hospitals and clinics. Dr. Schmidt earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England.

Courses must be completed prior to the expiration date of each Board approval, which varies according to the specific Board. Online courses are posted on the Learndash learning management system.
